Professor Jonathan Mill is the Director of the UK Human Functional Genomics Initiative. He plays a key role in shaping and overseeing the initiative and in forging collaborative engagement with the national and international functional genomics research network. Jonathan is Professor of Epigenomics at the University of Exeter where he heads the Complex Disease Epigenomics Group and the Department of Clinical & Biomedical Sciences and is Neurodegeneration Theme Lead for the NIHR Exeter Biomedical Research Centre. His research focuses on understanding the causes and consequences of molecular variation in the human brain and its relevance to diseases of the central nervous system.
